UX Researcher Thermo Fisher Scientific // 2016 - present // Pittsburgh, PA

Support UX and Design teams through conducting user research and data organization. Manage Voice of Customer (VOC) by triaging issues, replying directly to customers, and reporting customer insight trends on a weekly basis. Design, develop, script and facilitate User Tests through varying survey software and research methods. Prototype and wireframe new designs for fishersci.com and thermofisher.com web properties, and design reporting templates and presentation visuals to communicate results to the business.

Worked on client projects within teams that combined interaction and visual design, conducted internal research, developed and presented projects around company communication, assisted in stakeholder research, held photography shoots for internal use.

Design Research Assistant IDEATE Program // 2014 // Pittsburgh, PA

Collaborated with an architect and designer for the Carnegie Mellon IDEATE Committee on a Participatory Cultural Incubator, and used design research to realize a new kind of collaborative space in Oakland, Pittsburgh.

Design Consultant Swanson School of Engineering // 2014 // Pittsburgh, PA

Designed website, brand and identity, took professional portraits and equipment photographs for the Thermal Hydraulics and Energy Transfer Analysis research laboratory in the University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson School of Engineering.
